Hello.π How are you?
I am not one to read books on relationships. However, one of the decisions I made, as regards my reading goal this year, is to extend my reading across all genres.

So, here you have me reading Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. PS: I decided to settle for this book because of the flying images of it all over the media, bookstores and I could remember one of my friends with so much excitement in her voice saying "This book! I have been looking for it" the day I got it but tbh, the book really didn't meet my expectations as hyped.

A salient message in the book is the need to understand the differences that exist between you and your partner to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding. Copy that!

Nonetheless, the book is too sexist for my liking. I hate the fact that the author based the whole book on stereotypical fixed ideas of what and who men and women are, should be in a relationship and feel he would have done a better job, if he hadn't based interaction of opposite sexes on perceived stereotyped notions that are to be accepted and not changed.

Partners should be seen as individuals (susceptible to sacrifices or changes especially in a relationship), not as stereotypical conditioned individuals

I strongly recommend not to build your relationship on some of the teachings in this book.
