As someone that has dealt with grief before, and all the excruciating pain that comes with it, the guilt of moving on, the anger on why it should have happened in the first place, the confusion, the silence, the denial, how it looked like it never was going to get better because remembering came with tears and a lot of pain, I know as time passes, we come to accept, live with it. Thrive despite it, but the pain never leaves the heart, it only becomes easier to bear.
