"...we don't move on from grief, we move forward with it" reiterates the inevitable fact that the cause of grief is hardly forgotten. Not even time will erode such memory. But the lessons we draw from past grief can become invaluable companions in the future.

Your reviews have a way of planting interest in the book in my heart every time, well done babe!

As someone that has dealt with grief before, and all the excruciating pain that comes with it, the guilt of moving on, the anger on why it should have happened in the first place, the confusion, the silence, the denial, how it looked like it never was going to get better because remembering came with tears and a lot of pain, I know as time passes, we come to accept, live with it. Thrive despite it, but the pain never leaves the heart, it only becomes easier to bear.

Yes Halyem. The pain never leaves the heart and I am so sorry to read all that comes with you griefing. I lost a close friend recently to and everytime, memories of him, of how easy he always made things & how things would have been different if he were to be alive never stopped resurfacing.
